Heat Pump Services in Philadelphia
Installation, Repair & Maintenance Solutions
Peters Associates installs, repairs, and maintains heat pumps to help you stay comfortable through every deal. Philadelphia summers run hot and humid. Winters regularly drop to design temperatures around 14 degrees F. That range makes selecting and properly sizing heat pump equipment very important; luckily, we’ve been doing this work in this climate long enough to know exactly what each season demands.
As a Lennox Premier Dealer since 2003, we give customers access to the full Lennox heat pump product line through an authorized channel. We’re also NATE-affiliated, BBB A+ accredited since 2004, and recognized by Angi as a Super Service award winner.
Heat Pump Installation
Choosing the right heat pump starts well before any equipment arrives. We size every system using a Manual J load calculation that accounts for your home’s square footage, insulation levels, window types, and layout. An oversized unit short-cycles and wears out faster. An undersized one struggles on the coldest Philadelphia days. Getting this step right determines how the system will perform over the next 15 years.
Our Lennox Premier Dealer status gives you access to the full Lennox heat pump line, including the Dave Lennox Signature Collection and Lennox iComfort smart thermostats. We also offer air-source heat pumps, ductless mini-split systems, and geothermal ground-source systems, depending on your property and goals.
Every heat pump installation project starts with an honest conversation about what your home actually needs. Give us a call to get started!
Heat Pump Repair & Emergency Service
A heat pump that stops heating in January or cooling in August isn’t a minor inconvenience. We provide 24/7 emergency service every day of the year and consistently arrive within 2 hours for urgent calls.
Common issues we diagnose and repair include reversing valve failure, refrigerant leaks, compressor problems, ice buildup on the outdoor coil, short-cycling, and failed capacitors or contactors. Our technicians start every visit with a thorough diagnostic to identify the root cause, not just the visible symptom. Before any heat pump repair work begins, we explain what we found and walk you through your options. No surprises, no unnecessary work.
Heat Pump Maintenance Agreements
Many manufacturers require two service visits per year for a new heat pump’s warranty to remain in effect. Our maintenance agreements are built around exactly that cadence, protecting both your equipment and your warranty coverage from day one. Twice-yearly visits, once before the heating season and once before the cooling season, keep your system calibrated for whatever Philadelphia’s weather brings, extend equipment life, and catch developing problems before they become emergency calls.
All agreement holders receive priority scheduling throughout the year and emergency priority response.
Financing for New Heat Pumps
We offer three financing programs to fit different budgets and credit situations.
NEIF Financing
Start here. NEIF, the National Energy Improvement Fund, is the only B Corp-certified home improvement lender in the country. As an approved NEIF contractor, we can connect you with financing that covers 100% of qualifying energy improvements at a true fixed rate, with no fees, no home equity required, terms up to 10 years, and no prepayment penalties.
GreenSky & SNAP Finance
GreenSky offers terms such as 6.99% for 60 months or a 12-month no-interest, no-payment plan with approved credit. SNAP Finance approves all credit types, provides decisions in seconds, and approves amounts up to $5,000. We also accept credit cards and ACH payments.
Rebates & Tax Credits
Philadelphia-area homeowners have historically had access to utility incentives through Pennsylvania’s Act 129 program via PECO. As of mid-2026, Act 129 Phase IV has closed, and Phase V rebate amounts haven’t been published. The federal Section 25C tax credit for heat pumps expired on December 31, 2025. Verify current program availability directly with PECO before counting on specific rebate figures. NEIF financing is a concrete, stable path to making a heat pump project affordable right now.
