Dispatcher
As a dispatcher, you will be the person our customers rely on to get service when they need it. You will prepare records and distribute calls to technicians in response to customer requests using our scheduling and online customer portal.
Responsibilities include receiving calls from HVAC technicians, taking calls from customers, monitoring technicians’ schedules, keeping records of each job, addressing problems, and dispatching the appropriate team members.
As a dispatcher, you will use your communication and active listening skills to devise the most efficient solutions.

Responsibilities
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Scheduling service calls, maintenance visits, and installations between technicians and customers
- Reviewing the dispatch board to ensure jobs are assigned appropriately
- Communicating with technicians, customers, and other departments
- Creating and maintaining technician schedules
- Confirming appointments with customers
- Coordinating with technicians on materials needed for their calls
- Contacting supply houses or ordering parts and materials online as needed
- Working proficiently with the MS Office Suite, Google tools, and general computer applications
As a dispatcher, you must be pleasant, professional, and able to function independently and as part of a team. You must also be highly detail-oriented and focused, with a flexible and adaptable nature. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills are essential, as is the ability to interact effectively with both customers and coworkers.
Training will be provided on our scheduling software, and we’ll bring you up to speed on technical terms for ordering parts and materials. This position has a direct supervisor available to assist with any questions.

Peters Associates is hiring a full-time installer to join our team. We’re a small, family-owned company that treats employees like family. We’ve been in business for more than 80 years, servicing Philadelphia, Bucks County, and part of Montgomery County. Our work spans residential and commercial clients, and we install and service a wide variety of equipment. We primarily install Lennox and Coleman units, with other brands available for installation and service as needed. The equipment we work on includes hydronics, furnaces, air conditioning, heat pumps, mini-splits, and water heaters. Experience with these systems or sheet metal work is a strong plus.

Requirements
Required and preferred credentials include:
- EPA Type II certification (required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record (required)
- Ability to pass background checks (required)
- NATE certification (preferred)
- 2 years of HVAC experience (preferred)
